Holly Hook is the Library Media Specialist at the resilient Aztec High in Aztec, NM. An educator for 15 years, she has served in both elementary and secondary schools. Holly has worked in libraries since books were first being indexed in the digital world, so she feels great empathy for the learning curve of our veteran teachers (but they really know their craft and they really love their students, so it’s TOTALLY WORTH IT to train them in the G Suite). Holly likes to incorporate the sense of adventure she’s absorbed from her high school students in tech adoption. As an educator, she uses the G Suite to transform student learning into a more curiosity-driven and personalized experience. As a trainer, she works with teachers to problem-solve, workshop, and experiment. Holly approaches educational technology integration from the perspectives of design thinking and growth mindset. She holds a Bachelor's degree in the performing arts and a Masters degree in the interpretation of ancient texts.
